Joe Amdor
Assistant Executive Director
Joe has made a recent move back to Maui and brings a unique combination of education
and experience to the Hula Bowl Maui All-Star Football Classic.
Upon completing his bachelor's degree in Athletic Training from Buena Vista
University in Storm Lake, Iowa, Joe worked for six years as Director of Athletic
Training services for a large hospital in Nebraska. It was here that he became
directly involved with the program development, administrative and operational
aspects of the sports industry.
After leaving Nebraska, Joe moved to Hawaii, where he continued working as both a
certified athletic trainer and personal trainer. His desire to further his education
in the business aspect of sports took him to Miami, Florida, where he completed a
Masters of Business Administration in Sports Administration degree at St. Thomas
University. While completing his master's degree, Joe worked as Football
Operations/Team Travel Assistant for the University of Miami.
Most recently, he further diversified his practical experience by working as a Sales
Manager for the Royal Plaza Hotel and Trade Center in Marlborough, Massachusetts,
with the sports industry being his target market.
At the Hula Bowl, it will be Joe's responsibility to develop and implement an
operational plan for the week's activites. His extensive knowledge of football
game operations coupled with his strengths of being a dedicated team player will
prove to be invaluable as the Hula Bowl Maui dives into a new venture with the
NFL Pro Bowl.
With his most recent move back to Maui Hawaii, Joe is extremely excited to add
his personal touch to whatever aspect of the sports industry is placed before him.
