The
Green Bay Packers have signed Free Agent Anthony Smith from the
Pittsburgh Steelers. Smith started 10 games in 2007 and was mostly used on special teams in 2008.
It will be interesting to see how Anthony Smith fits into the new Dom Capers defensive strategy during the 2009
Green Bay Packers season.
Anthony Smith made quite an impact in college at
Syracuse. As a freshman he racked up 71 tackles, sophomore 106 tackles w/five interceptions,
junior 85 tackles w/three interceptions, and senior year 71 tackles w/6 interceptions.
Throughout his college career he showed that he could read and react quickly to different offensive formations.
